zum Abschluss dieser oberknaller Waterkant Saison 2022 haben wir heute eine große Menge Liebe an euch im Gepäck. Was ein Sommer! Wir sind glücklich bis über alle unsere Ohren, beflügelt und so dankbar. Ohne euch gäbe es uns nicht. Ihr seid der Inhalt und das Rückgrat von Waterkant. Danke an das gesamte Team, die Speaker:innen, die Ausstellenden, die Sponsor:innen, Freunde, Familie und die helfenden Hände. Wir lieben euch. 💙

Zum Ende der Waterkant Saison haben wir das erste Mal ein Season Closing Event veranstaltet, zu welchem uns auch unser Wirtschaftsminister Claus Ruhe Madsen auf dem Gelände besucht hat, denn wir werden zum Großteil von Geldern des Wirtschaftsministerium des Landes SH finanziert. Wir haben einen Einblick in die letzten drei Jahre Waterkant Hub gegeben, die heißesten Startups des Nordens haben sich präsentiert und gemeinsam mit Herrn Madsen haben wir über die Zukunft der Gründungskultur in unserem schönen Bundesland gesprochen. Außerdem hatte er noch einen Tipp für alle Gründer:innen dabei:
“Keep it simple. Nimm mal Onkel, Tante, Bruder, Schwester und sag: “Probier das mal.” […] Wenn die einmal nachfragen müssen, dann schmeiß das Produkt weg.”

Es war super schön und inspirierend und wir haben richtig Bock weiterzumachen, nicht stehenzubleiben, größer zu denken, innovativ zu bleiben und euch alle mitzunehmen!

Die Zukunft bleibt ungewiss, aber das ist unsere Chance! Denn Zukunft ist etwas, dass durch uns hervorgebracht wird. Wir können lernen, unsere Zukunft aktiv zu gestalten! Dieser Kurs führt euch in die Praxis des Zukunftsdenkens ein und gemeinsam werden wir verstehen, was wir damit ganz konkret anfangen können.
Anhand des begleitenden Coursera Kurses lernen wir von und mit der sensationellen Autorin, TED Speakerin und Gamedesignerin Dr. Jane McGonigal die Technik des Zukunftsdenkens kennen, die sie als Leiterin des "Institute for the Future" in Kalifornien entwickelt hat. Zusammen mit Akteur:innen, Projekten und Initiativen aus dem Norden schauen wir uns im Laufe des Semesters an, was das für uns bedeuten kann und mit welchen Strategien Zukunft erst gedacht und dann gemacht wird. Dieser Kurs richtet sich an alle, die Chancen für Innovationen und Erfindungen schneller erkennen wollen.

Das Digital Entrepreneurship Degree ist eine hybride Weiter- und Ausbildungsmöglichkeit für ALLE, die sich Wissen im Bereich digitale Produktentwicklung mit Impact aneignen möchten. Ihr braucht dazu keine Vorkenntnisse!
Wir wollen Menschen helfen, im digitalen Wandel neue berufliche Wege gehen zu können. Dafür bringen wir Fachwissen aus den weltweit besten digitalen Kursen sowie von Expert:innen aus den Unternehmen vor Ort an unsere Teilnehmer:innen und orchestrieren dieses in Lernpfaden. Dieses Programm ermöglicht euch, neue berufliche Qualifikationen zu erwerben und Unternehmen aus der Region kennenzulernen.
Die theoeretischen Grundlagen lernen wir zusammen im Rahmen von erstklassigen digitalen Lernangeboten von Google, Coursera oder Meta. Wir vernetzen euch zudem mit unseren besten Mentor:innen und Gründer:innen aus der Praxis und machen gemeinsame Exkursionen nach Berlin, Hamburg oder Dänemark.
Daneben bilden praktische Erfahrungen und reale Projekte die Grundlage des Degrees. Wir werden euch dafür und mit spannenden Startups/Unternehmen wie MOVESELL, Windfinder.com oder Otto (GmbH & Co KG) in Verbindung bringen und ihr werdet von ihnen hören, was es braucht, um mit ihnen oder für sie in der digitalen Produktentwicklung zu arbeiten.
Am Ende erhaltet ihr einen Mikroabschluss, der euch den Weg für eine eigene Gründung ebnet, mit dem ihr mit Kusshand von jedem modernen Unternehmen empfangen werdet und euch dafür falls ihr noch studiert (je nach Studiengang und Hochschule) auch bis zu 15 ECTS anrechnen lassen könnt.
Mit anderen Worten ist dieses Degree einer der besten Wege, um euren beruflichen Weg erfolgreich zu gestalten.

At the end of the Waterkant season, we hosted a Season Closing Event for the first time, which was also attended by our Minister of Economic Affairs, Claus Ruhe Madsen, as we are largely financed by funds from the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the State of SH. We gave an insight into the last three years of Waterkant Hub, the hottest startups of the North presented themselves and together with Mr. Madsen we discussed the future of startup culture in our beautiful state. It was super nice and inspiring and we really feel like going further, not standing still, thinking bigger, staying innovative and taking you all with us!

The future remains uncertain, but we can learn to deal with change! Climate, cities, health and all our personal packages that we have to face in everyday life challenge us today and will certainly do so in the future. How can we prepare for this? This course will introduce you to the practice of thinking about the future and together we will understand what we can do with it in a very concrete way. Through the accompanying Coursera course, we will learn from and with the sensational author, TED speaker and game designer Dr. Jane McGonigal about the technique of Future Thinking that she developed as director of the "Institute for the Future" in California. Together with actors, projects and initiatives from the North, we will take a look at what this can mean for us and what strategies are used to think about the future. This course is aimed at all those who want to recognize opportunities for innovation and invention more quickly.

The Digital Entrepreneurship Degree is a hybrid event continuing education and training opportunity for ALL who want to acquire knowledge in the field of digital product development with impact. You don't need any previous knowledge!
We want to help people to find new professional paths in the digital transformation. To do this, we bring expertise from the world's best digital courses as well as experts from local companies to our participants and orchestrate it into learning paths. This program allows you to gain new professional skills and get to know local companies.
We learn the theoeretic basics together in the context of first-class digital learning offerings from Google, Coursera or Meta. We also network with our best mentors and founders from the field and take joint excursions to Berlin, Hamburg or Denmark.
In addition, practical experience and real projects form the basis of the degree. We will connect you for this and with exciting startups/companies like MOVESELL, Windfinder.com or Otto (GmbH & Co KG) and you will hear from them what it takes to work with them or for them in digital product development.
In the end, you will receive a micro-degree that will pave the way for your own start-up, with which you will be welcomed with a kiss hand by any modern company and for which you can also receive up to 15 ECTS credits if you are still studying (depending on the course and university). In other words, this degree is one of the best ways to successfully shape your professional path.
